The Chekhov Theatre Ensemble is an award-winning company comprised of Stages of Learning’s teaching artists. Based in the work of legendary acting teacher Michael Chekhov, the Chekhov Theatre Ensemble produces works that afford teaching artists similar “life changing” experiences to those they provide Stages of Learning students. Just as Stages of Learning engages all children in classrooms, the Chekhov Theatre Ensemble produces an annual season tailored to engage all Stages of Learning teaching artists in professional productions. This practice allows Stages of Learning to retain the best and the brightest teaching actors and to nurture them as both teachers and artists. Members of the Chekhov Theatre Ensemble are exceptional exemplars of their art form.
