Stages of Learning offers two different types of arts education programs.

In School Instruction for Students in Grades 3-6
Stages of Learning builds on the schools' regular curriculum through literacy and theatre in grade 3-6. Using physical and vocal expression, Stages of Learning engages all children — including many who struggle with traditional teaching methods—over a 12 or 20 week session.

Classroom Teacher Professional Development
Stages of Learning provides ongoing professional development for teaching artists and classroom teachers. All adult learning experiences aim to increase learner capacities to engage students grades 3-6 in theater making.

In addition, Stages of Learning is home to The Chekhov Theatre Ensemble. This award-winning resident company of actors trained in the methodology of Russian master Michael Chekhov offers training and professional development to Stages of Learning's teaching artists.
